I love my collection of Blue-and-White ware. I have plates, eggs, cups, vases, jars....so many cute pieces. Not many of them are expensive but grouped together they look fantastic and make my open concept kitchen/dining area so warm and homey. With that in mind I was doing a little drawing the other day and realized a simple (well, pretty intricate actually) Scherschnitte would be a very inexpensive way to enhance the look and carry it into the hallway. My first attempt, this Japanese Jar inspired piece. A great, inexpensive way to add your own handmade art to your home.....papercutting!
