Basket of Summer Roses

basket of summer roses

Another new piece.  This time I did it is not inspired by any of Christie Repasy's work but a continuation of the new technique.  The combination of pink and yellow is very appealing to me and working in something other than the white/pink mode was what I was looking to do.

This basket is full of multi-colored roses in peach, pink and yellow.  A very non-fussy "cottage-y" look of freshing picked roses set in a basket as you stroll through the garden.
